OSA Cross-Disciplinary Forum — Merging Clinical Expertise with Innovative Technology, OSAWELL PRO Leading the Future
On March 10, 2024, the OSA Breathing & Beauty Cross-Disciplinary Forum was grandly held at the Hua Nan Financial Holdings Center in Taipei, co-hosted by the Taiwan Dental Sleep Medicine Association (TDSMA) and Shell Biomedical. The event drew over 200 professionals from dentistry, otolaryngology, and sleep medicine. With a packed venue and a vibrant atmosphere of academic and clinical exchange, the forum sparked insightful discussions on the latest trends and integrated approaches in managing Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).
The forum featured distinguished speakers, including former Stanford University Associate Professor Dr. Stanley Liu, Director of Otolaryngology at Taichung Hospital Dr. Chao-Yun Chi, and Professor Chia-Che Kao from Chung Shan Medical University. From a multidisciplinary perspective, they explored cutting-edge treatments and strategic integrations for OSA, highlighting the pivotal role of collaborative care models.
Among the key highlights was the clinical application and innovative design of OSAWELL PRO. Tailored specifically to the oral and airway structures of Asian populations, OSAWELL PRO features a patented dual-rail system and a highly stable adjustment mechanism. It allows precise mandibular positioning, effectively alleviating upper airway obstruction while maintaining both comfort and therapeutic efficacy. The device has earned high praise from both clinicians and patients alike.
Hands-on workshop sessions further demonstrated the complete clinical workflow of OSAWELL PRO—from intraoral digital scanning and 3D modeling to device adjustment and fitting—showcasing its efficiency and comprehensive clinical value. As a key non-surgical treatment option for OSA, OSAWELL PRO not only displayed impressive clinical results at the forum but also reinforced its role in fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration and enhancing patients’ quality of life.
Looking ahead, the OSAWELL team remains committed to partnering with medical professionals across specialties, driving forward new concepts in OSA treatment. Their mission: to help more clinicians integrate innovative technology into everyday practice and ultimately fulfill the vision of “Let Beauty Breathe.”
